For the seat undertray to clear the new shock angle with the long swingarm, I chose to lift the tail section using subframe spacers. I first made a temporary set to check length and clearance. After I knew how far I needed to raise the tail section, I decided on a really nice kit from Diesel-Moto. They are cast aluminum, just like the factory rails, and bolt right on. I then decided to weld the spacers to the factory rails and weld up the factory mounting bolt hole, smooth the welds, and repaint the rails. This made the rails one piece and smooth, with a hidden lower mounting bolt.
